Marcia has all of her needs met and most of her wants. We are aware, however, that there are many people who do not have all of their needs met. So, while gifts are optional*, we do request that those attending bring a not-yet-expired canned food item for Marcia to donate to Loaves and Fishes, our local food pantry. If you want to wrap the cans for her to open, she will be happy to oblige. **
*Optional really does mean optional, we care more about time spent with family and friends than gifts. However, we know there are some individuals who will give gifts, so here is a link to Marcia’s permanent wish list.
**Just an idea for those who can’t make it, you could donate canned food to your local food pantry and pretend you are contributing to Marcia’s donation.
