Jacob’s Wish List

NOTE (August 2010): I’ve begun a new “project.” The guys over at personalmba.com maintain a list online of the “99 best business books.” I had already read a few on their list before I discovered the list, and each one was fantastic. I’ve decided to try to read all of them. Rather than listing them all here, I’ve created an amazon.com wishlist with each of the books. As I read them, I will remove them from the wishlist, so if you’re wondering what to get the guy with no financial discipline, check out this wishlist:
Or, if that’s not what you’re looking for, here are some other toys I think would be fun:
  • Small, precise-flying R/C helicopter (Like this one)
  • Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
  • “Molecular Gastronomy” kit
  • Infrared thermometer (both for food and for “home medical” use)
  • Electronics/embedded programming starter kit (Nerdkits USB looks fun)
  • Clarke Crocodile Circular Saw
  • iPhone
  • Vic Firth MS5 and MS6CO drumsticks
  • Apple LED Cinema Display
  • Fischer Space Pen
  • Marimba
  • Cycling jerseys (size medium)
  • Geek Desk
